The teaching process at Navoiy State University is organised on the basis of the credit-module system. The academic regulations below define the rights and obligations of students and faculty regarding study, assessment and academic discipline.

All documents are developed in line with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the regulatory requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. To obtain the full text of any document, please contact the university's Academic Affairs Office.

Academic regulatory documents

Regulation on the credit-module system
Defines the credit weight of courses, their division into modules, the method of calculating GPA and the per-semester study load. One credit is counted as the sum of contact and self-study hours.
Class attendance procedure
Governs students' attendance at classes, the formalisation of absences for valid reasons, and the measures applied when the absence threshold is exceeded.
Regulation on assessment and attestation
Establishes the forms of current, interim and final assessment, the criteria for awarding marks, and the conversion of the 100-point scale into grades. The retake procedure is also set out in this document.
Academic integrity code
Defines plagiarism, cheating, false authorship and other academic misconduct, provides for originality checks of academic and research works and disciplinary measures in cases of violation.
Procedure for transfer and reinstatement
Sets out the conditions for transferring from another higher education institution, reinstatement after dismissal, changing the form or field of study and making up academic differences.
Regulation on academic leave
Defines the grounds and duration for granting academic leave on health, family or other valid grounds, and the procedure for returning to study after the leave ends.
